Summary of course
Providing first aid at work is a requirement covered inside the First Aid at Work Regulations 1981 as amended. The first aid worker will complete a 3 day course of learning, involving practicable and theory learning sessions, which will deal with CPR, catastrophic bleeding, use of defibrillator as examples of learning. At the end of the course and on successful completions of practicable assessments during the course over the 3 days and passing a question paper on final day, the candidate will be awarded his/her first aid at work pass mark. This course is independantly assessed and is delivered by qualified and an experienced instructor. This course can be run on site or at our learning centre.

Learning tools
All learning items will be provided on the day to assist the learning environment
Conclusion of course:
On successful passing practicable assessment carried out over the 3 days and a final question paper, the successful candidate will be awarded a level 3 certificate, valid for 3 years. It is a requirement of the first aid regulations that each award first aid worker attends a further 1/2 day training in years 1 & 2 after passing his / her course to maintain first aid skills.
