Summary of course
The learner will have already completed a first aid at work 3 day course and so this 2 day will focus on recapping what was learnt in previous learning.The first aid worker will complete a 2 day course of learning, involving practicable and theory learning sessions, which will deal with CPR, catastrophic bleeding, use of defibrillator as examples of learning. At the end of the course and on successful completions of practicable assessments during the course over the 2 days and passing a question paper on final day, the candidate will be awarded his/her first aid at work pass mark. This course is independantly assessed and is delivered by qualified and an experienced instructor. This course can be run on site or at our learning centre.

10, Extremes in temperatures
11. Paediatric resuscitation
12. First aid regulations
Learning tools
All equipment will be provided on the day. It is advisable for the learner to arrive in comfortable clothing and be physically able to stand, sit and bend or knee down regularly during the learning.
Conclusion of course:
On conclusion of the 2 day learning course the learner will have achieved a pass and be awarded a further level 3 first aid at work certificate, valid for 3 years. The successful first aid worker is expected to complete a further 2 x 1/2 days of learning in years 1 and 2 before re-taking a further refresher course.
